Delete your PesoHero account

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the PesoHero app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open the Menu, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account.
3. Tap Delete my account, then confirm with Delete forever.

Deletion happens immediately and is permanent. There is no recovery period, so the account cannot be restored afterwards.

Write to support@pesohero.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account, your sign-in, and your email address
• Your profile, including your name and any profile photo you uploaded
• Every financial record you synced: accounts, balances, holdings, transactions, budgets, bills, goals, emergency fund, and MP2 records
• The push notification tokens of your devices and any reminders scheduled for them
• Your subscription records in our database
• Your data and AI helper chats on the phone you deleted the account from

What is kept, and for how long

• Google Play and the App Store keep their own records of your purchases under their own policies. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in the store as well.
• RevenueCat, our subscription provider, keeps the transaction records the stores require. Our own log of billing events from the stores is kept for our records, detached from your deleted account.
• Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days, and analytics events, if you opted in, for up to 12 months. They then expire on their own.
• Deleted records are removed from our backups within 30 days.
• AI helper answers you reported carry no user id, so they are not linked to your account and stay as they are.

If you are in a shared household

Deleting your account removes you from any household you belong to. If you own a household, you have to hand it over to another member or disband it before your account can be deleted. The app names the household that is blocking you and links you straight to either option. Shared records you created, such as a household expense or a remittance, stay with the household so nobody else's totals break, but your name comes off them and shows as "Former member".

If you use PesoHero without an account

In guest mode, your data lives only on your phone and we have no copy of it. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it.
